Dwarka Sub-City May See A New Metro Link To Improve Mobility In The Area

If you’re a frequent traveller in the Metro then you probably relate to the sentiment of having to change Metro trains. And this is what the new Metro link that may come up in Dwarka sub-city will do.

A New Link In Tow? | Delhi Development Authority (DDA) recently said that Dwarka Sub-City will soon see a new metro link that will facilitate better connectivity to other parts of the city. The need for the new link is to minimise the interchanging at the Sector 21, Palam, Sarai Rohilla Railway Station and Delhi Cantt.  Plus, there was also a plan to increase the frequency of the Airport Line and decreasing fare.

The plan will focus on several other issues like safety of women & children. Plus, it will also include the inefficient public transport system. The time generally taken by the bus to reach workplaces is approx 1 hour 45 minutes while the same from the Metro to work is 1 hour 15 mins.
