Delhi University students listen up, there’s some super amazing news for you which will make you jump with joy! Delhi Metro, our one and only saviour and BFF is soon gonna be linking both Delhi University campuses guys! WOAH!

This Is AWESOMENESS | The travel time between North and South Campus of Delhi University is will hopefully drop down to 35 minutes in total now, which is amazing considering they’re in two different corners of the city! The first section of the longest line of Delhi Metro from Shiv Vihar to Majlis Park, along the Ring Road, is likely to be operational by March next year, which is why this is possible.

Once this metro line is up and running, travelling from South to North Campus will take 35 minutes with an interchange at only Azadpur Metro Station. Currently, students from South Campus either go to Dhaula Kuan on the Airport Line or board the Yellow Line from AIIMS or INA stations which is currently 6 kms away from South Campus. But with this new metro station in South Campus, it will be literally walking distance from there!

Sounds pretty cool to us - can’t wait!
