All you DU aspirants, the university might come up with a new course that will prove useful to you if you’re planning to start your own business some day. Read on as we tell you what this new course is all about!

Wanna Be The Next Mark Zuckerberg? | DU might start a new course on entrepreneurship from the next academic year, that’ll be taught at the Faculty of Applied Social Sciences and Humanities. However, this course is yet to get approval from the academic council.

It will be a three-year degree program, called BBA (Entrepreneurship), and is touted to be the first one of its kind in the capital to be offered by a government university. All other institutions offer diplomas in this field and only private universities hand out degrees in entrepreneurship. Currently, BBA (Entrepreneurship) is offered in seven institutions across the country.

As per officials, admission to this course will take place through an entrance exam, group discussion session and a personal interview. The entrance test will examine the student’s reasoning and quantitative aptitude. During the course, students will also be required to do two internships and submit a dissertation at the end of the final semester.

This course looks promising and might help encourage innovative entrepreneurs. All we wish is that this course gets a final okay from the academic council. Fingers crossed!
