All the aspiring and potential DU-ites, pay heed to this important announcement - DU may limit cutoff lists to 5 for this coming new session!! The remaining vacant seats left after the fifth cutoff list might end up being filled via counselling sessions.

Time To Pull Up Your Socks | Everyone’s sought option, Delhi University is considering bringing down the number of cutoff lists from 11 to just 5 for undergraduate courses. One of the university committee members laid down the motive behind this considered change - “Too many cutoff lists lead to admission process continuing even after classes start. In the centralised counselling, students will give their preference and subjects and based on the number of seats left, seats will be allocated.”

The proposal needs to be passed by the Vice Chancellor and once it’s implemented, students will have to appear for central counselling post issuing the 5th cutoff list.

Let’s wait and watch if this gets implemented!
