DU Is FINALLY Taking Steps To Quench Its Severe Shortage Of Teachers

After 7 years of DU students cribbing about the quality of teachers in the university, finally now they’re hiring 378 teachers! YESS! Time to rejoice, aspiring DU applicants. 

Though the vacancies have amounted to 4,500 after 7 years of pleading and pestering the various department heads, 378 seats will be filled by permanent teachers across all departments. The university invited online applications for the post of Assistant Professors across 41 departments and centres, which includes applicants from general, OBC, SC as well as ST categories.

For now, overall department-wise admissions are being done, and later these teachers will be allotted their respective colleges. The last day for sending in applications is February 16th, so aspiring professors, send yours in right away!
