DU Hopefuls, Registrations For This New PG Course In Cyber Security Ends On 30th, So Register ASAP!
We're all aware about the rising threats of data hacking and a breach of privacy, thanks to numerous such incidents happening all over the world nowadays. In such a scenario, our dear Delhi University has taken an initiative to make the current generation familiar with these threats. Read on for the deets!
What’s The Course About? | Here’s a new course being introduced in DU that we bet you weren’t aware of - PG Diploma in Cyber Security. This is the first year that the course will be taught in DU and the registrations for the same are on till 30th June!
As interesting as the course sounds, it will prove useful to all you students as it’ll teach you about things like vulnerability assessment and penetration testing and will teach you to check the capacity of systems in the event of a data breach. About 900 students have already applied for the course, and for the ones who’re a tad bit clueless about the admission process, don’t fret. All you have to do is apply via the portal of the DU postgraduate programme admission.
While. the institute for the course will be at the Rugby Stadium building in North Campus, the classes will be held at Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies. There are about 50 seats available and admissions will be based on merit. Here’s the admission criteria and process - 85% weightage will be given to the overall undergraduate marks and 15% will be for the interview.
However, take note, you need to have passed in a Science-based undergraduate or postgraduate degree to be eligible for this course.
