DSGMC Has Offered MKT Gurdwara For Setting Up Quarantine Facilities In The City

This Is A Representative Image

With the ongoing epidemic crisis, we have been seeing people come out in support, restoring our faith in humanity. The DSGMC is doing something similar to help the government in winning the fight against this epidemic and here’s all the info.

For A Nobel Cause | In a round of great humanitarian effort, the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee offered Gurdwara Majnu Ka Tilla which is located on the banks of river Yamuna as a ‘serai’ (read inn). This could be used to set up isolation wards and treatment facilities for the people affected by Coronavirus. There are 20 rooms in the inn with modern facilities that can be used for the treatment.

Plus, they will provide a separate room for the staff and there’s ample parking over there. This will, in turn, make it a safe and secure space for the treatment. Did you know the DSGMC will also provide langar (free food) to the patients and health officials at the serai? Yep, and they will provide langar to the needy and is also prepared to provide packed food to the government agencies.

Now, ain’t this a humble work?!
