With the biggest festival among Indians, Diwali, being just around the corner, it’s time to get in the festive spirit and head on over to some good traditional Diwali melas simply for the nostalgic effect more than anything else. Thus here it is, Sundar Nagar Diwali Mela’s dates are out and we’re so excited to go attend it! YAS! It’s happening on the 14th & 15th of October guys! 

A traditional, staple Diwali Mela that’s been around for decades, this one’s renowned for its stunningly exquisite decorations, brilliantly laid out stalls and precious artisanal finds that you won’t find anywhere in Delhi. 

Touted as the ‘Fun Mela’, it’s got rides (think Giant Wheels while munching on cotton candy), music pumping in and lots and lots of foodie stalls (read ice-cold chuskis). A brilliant, vibrant place to simply drink in the sights and sounds of Diwali in the city, Sundar Nagar cordially invites you to come and simply have a ball! See you there, cotton candy in tow!
