DMRC To Build A Never Seen Before Integrated Flyover Cum Metro Viaduct Structure Near Soorghat!

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has achieved several incredible feats with regard to the easier commute and next-gen engineering capabilities. But, we seem to have hit a new milestone, with DMRC announcing the construction of a never seen before Integrated ‘flyover cum Metro viaduct structure’ in the history of Delhi Metro! Here’s everything you need to know! 

First Of Its Kind! | This Integrated ‘flyover cum Metro viaduct structure’ is being built along with a vehicle underpass near Soorghat on the Majlis Park - Maujpur corridor of Phase IV in North-East Delhi, in association with PWD. It’s a long corridor with an expanse of around 12 Kms and 8 stations and is an extension of the Pink Line. 

This construction has been called an engineering marvel as both a road flyover and a Metro viaduct will be placed parallel to each other on an elevated portal with an underpass running under it. This calls for a great collaboration between DMRC and Delhi PWD.
