DMRC Plans On Becoming A Real Estate Baron: They're Putting 500 Flats Up For Sale

Like Delhi Metro wasn’t doing enough already, they’re now getting into the real estate line too, as they will put 500 flats up for sale in the 60 lakhs to 1 crore bracket! NICE! 

A senior DMRC official has stated that the Metro has started this project and people will soon be able to buy these flats which are popping up in Janakpuri and the Okhla area within a month or two. About 460 flats are coming up in Janakpuri and 90 in Okhla! 

The plots have already been bought and construction work will start soon. 15% of the flats, which will be a mix of 2-BHK and 3-BHK, would be reserved for the economically weaker sections of society.
