Disinfection Drives Are Being Held In Parks & Open Gyms In The Wake Of The Current Scenario

Gyms are closed in Delhi till the end of March and because of this, there has been an increase in the footfall at the open gyms and parks. To prevent the spread of novel COVID-19, North Delhi Municipal Corporation has decided to disinfect parks and open gyms. Here are more deets on it!
Avoid Stepping Out | Due to the increase in the footfall at parks and open gyms, the commonly touched surfaces like benches, railings and gates posed a health risk, as it was discussed by the committee members in a special session to review the steps taken to contain the spread of the novel COVID-19. Civic commissioner Varsha Joshi ordered disinfecting all the national corporation parks, and also assured that an awareness campaign would be started to educate the yoga and laughter club members & the morning walkers.
The north civic body has also sent over 10 lac SMS’ to create awareness amongst the public. All the education insituitons, cinemas, spas, swimming pools have been shut down till the 31st of March.
