Dilli's Time-Honoured Tradition of Car-O-Bar Comes To A Hard Stop: No Drinking in Cars Now!

Delhiites listen up - it’s time to say bye bye to our beloved 'Car-O-Bar' moments! The practice of drinking in cars will have to stop now because of a notice posted by Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal. 

Anyone found drinking in public would be altogether arrested! This drive to discourage public consumption of liquor and the nuisance created by the same will kick in post 7th November. Special teams will be assigned by the government to keep a check at all liquor stores across the city so that no license regulations are broken. 

Public drinking attracts a fine of Rs 5,000 and double that in case nuisance is created. Time to get serious guys, no more ‘gedi’ scenes!
