One dukhti rag that these NCR peeps could always hold over us was our lack of microbreweries. Delhiites had to always travel with a heavy heart to either Gurgaon or Noida to enjoy refreshing, freshly-brewed beer. Hah! Not anymore - at least, not anymore from October! New microbreweries will be popping up all over the town soon, so if you’re curious for more info read on!

Fresh Draught Beer Calling | You’d be pleased to know that now you don’t have to travel all the way to Gurgaon/Noida for some fresh draught beer - wasn’t this the news you were waiting to hear since, what, forever? Delhi will soon be getting microbreweries in two of its biggest markets - CP and Saket. For now, the Excise department has given two licences for microbreweries and draught beer in Saket Mall, as well as in Central Delhi. 

According to the officials, five entities have applied for microbrewery licences, of which two have been approved. The remaining three are also set to be approved soon. Eventually, in Saket 10 microbreweries will open under the L-11 licence, and some are also expected to open in CP and other places from October 1.
