Delhi Metro is definitely the lifeline of the city that has made transportation easier. And we just heard that PM Narendra Modi inaugurated a driverless metro on this route of the Delhi Metro on Monday, the 28th of December. Here’s all you need to know about this development.

A Driverless Journey? | On Monday, the country’s first driverless train was inaugurated on the Magenta Line of the Delhi Metro, the route connects Janakpuri West to Botanical Garden in Noida. This service will soon be extended to the Pink Line by the mid of 2021. Besides this, the National Common Mobility Card was also launched. This card will be inter-operable that can be used to pay for travel, toll duties, retail shopping and even withdraw money!

Did you know that DMRC will enter the elite league of 7% of the world’s metro networks that can operate without a driver?! How cool!
