Big Relief From Traffic | Folks, After a long wait, the Pragati Maidan redevelopment project has been completed and the Pragati Maidan's main tunnel along with five underpasses has been opened to the public on Sunday, 19 June 2022 by Prime Minister Modi himself. Part of the integrated Transit Corridor project, this 1.6 km long tunnel will be Delhi's first tunnel which will allow commuters to travel to India Gate and other central Delhi areas from East Delhi, Noida, and Ghaziabad. It will also allow motorists travelling from Noida, Ghaziabad, and East Delhi areas to have e-signal-free access to India Gate, Supreme Court, Mathura Road, and vice versa.

This world-record-holding tunnel starts near the National Sports Complex of India (NSCI) at the Purana Qila Road and passes underneath the redeveloped Pragati Maidan to culminate at the Ring Road near the Pragati Power. Sounds awesome for everyday commuters right?

Folks, we’re really excited to see this unique addition to the city’s grandeur. What about you?
