Hey there, peeps! Did you know that Greater Noida is gonna have its very own airport pretty soon? Yep, it’s called Jewar Airport and it might become operational by year end. And we have good news to share with you guys about this upcoming airport. Read on!

Here’s What’s Up | The Yamuna Authority is looking to increase connectivity between Delhi’s IGI Airport & Greater Noida’s Jewar Airport and the construction of a 40 km elevated road in one of the options that these peeps have thought of. The authorities are now conducting feasibility studies on this proposal.

These guys are also trying to explore other alternatives like hyperloop, rapid rail, pod taxi, bus rapid transit, tram and more. However, the metro rail will not be one of the options considered by them.

This proposed elevated road will not only make commuting a lot easier for people, but also facilitate seamless transportation of goods. That’s so great!

We all know just how crowded IGI Airport already is, with its annual passenger numbers expected to touch 80-85 million by 2020. Woah! In this scenario, the newbie Jewar Airport will swoop in like a knight in shining armour for us Delhiites, to address all the spillover and we couldn’t have been more glad!
