If you’re a true blue Delhiite, then you probably have a plethora of emotions attached to the ages-old Red Fort. From Sunday visits to the monument to those sound and light shows that we’re always excited to attend, The Red Fort has literally seen us grow! And this stalwart monument is gonna boast of a number of new features. So read on as we tell you about ‘em!

What’s Happening At Red Fort? | The Red Fort is all set to add few more feathers to its cap, in the form of museums, which will be housed in colonial-era barracks. And you know what? The Red Fort is, reportedly, all set to be the first monument in Delhi to have a Martyrs’ Wall that’ll pay homage to all the people who lost their lives fighting for India’s Independence.

So soon, you’ll find a museum dedicated to the first war of independence fought in 1857, another museum called Yaadein-e-Jaliyan, that will pay homage to all the lives lost in the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, a museum dedicated to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, the Indian National Army and many more! Also, the Jallianwala Bagh museum will be the first of its kind in the city to be centred around this tragic incident in our collective past.

Well, we’re REALLY excited to see the new and completely revamped Red Fort with all these museums adding more glory to it! Can’t wait!
