Delhi's First Mobile Testing Van Is Here & It's Operating In Central District RN!

Recently, there are have been multiple developments in the capital to curb the spread of COVID-19, and one latest addition that we heard of is that a mobile testing unit has been introduced that can collect samples from two people at the same time. Here’s more on this!

Saving Time & Lives | This mobile testing van will collect both nasopharyngeal and oropharyngeal swabs that will be sealed in a double-packed icebox before it’s sent for testing. This van will not only save time, but it will also protect the people who are collecting the samples, as these people will be inside a closed compound. One more advantage is that this van can easily steer through the narrow bylanes and dense areas.

This van will operate for around 8 hours daily and since the Central district has 7 containment zones, the van will start collecting the samples from Chandni Mahal. Along with collecting the samples, this van will also spread awareness about COVID-19’s preventive measures.
