Delhi’s finally got its first ever pink toilet and this surely is a step that we’re very proud of! This move has been taken to help women and girls access hygienic washrooms in busy markets and we couldn’t be happier!

The South Delhi Municipal Corporation inaugurated the first ‘pink toilet’ in Vikaspuri recently! The first of its kind, this toilet was inaugurated on the special occasion of the International Girl Child Day, has vending machines for sanitary napkins, incinerator facilities and feeding area for breastfeeding mothers! NICE!!

Currently, there’s only one that has been opened and the spot for the same has been chosen precisely because it witnesses a lot of female footfall.

The civic agency aims at setting up a bunch more of such toilets in various busy markets in order to provide a convenient and safe place for women.

Sounds great to us!
