Delhiites, Can You Believe Over 99,000 Pollution Related Challans Have Already Been Issued!

Delhi pollution has been at its absolute worst since Diwali, and it was high time that strict measures were taken. Many anti-pollution laws have been introduced by the Delhi government to curb pollution, and so around 99,000 challans *woah* have been already issued for the violation of these laws! Read on to know more about it.

Be A Part Of The Solution, Not Pollution | Dumping of construction waste, burning of garbage, construction activities - all of it is banned due to the high levels of AQI in the city. Since 16th October, the municipal corporation has lifted over 29,044 metric tonnes of waste & violators have deposited around Rs 57 lakh already. 

Diesel generator sets are banned till 15th March, 2020 & 319 industrial units will remain shut till 8th November. For the clustered industrial areas like Okhla, Wazirpur & Mayapuri, intensified actions will be implemented. Around 41 industrial units were under the red & orange category, and they were all closed down. Sprinklers have been stationed around the city to settle pollutants & dust.
