Hello there, dear fellow Delhiites! We’ve got something to tell you that’ll make you wanna boast about saadi Dilli a little more. So quickly scroll on and read what we have to tell you peeps!

What’s Up? | Guys, you know what? Delhi will soon be home to India’s first terminal for private jets and that’s pretty cool! This newbie terminal is all set to be ready by May and it’ll be connected via a separate road. Plus, it’ll also have awesome murals that’ll take us back to the Mughal era AND artificial water bodies. Nice!

This new terminal will ensure faster movement of business jets, far away from the flock of commercial flights. It will cater to 60 aircrafts and over 200 passengers per day. Terminal 1 of IGI Airport, which usually handles the chartered flight traffic, is already operating beyond its capacity and hence, the need for another terminal was felt.

The new terminal shall boast of more than 70 aircraft parking bays, two aircraft hangars and will be designed keeping Delhi’s glorious history in mind. The walls will be designed to look like the Red Fort and many other Mughal structures will also be painted on them.

We can’t wait to check out all those wonderful murals as soon as this new terminal opens!
