There is no doubt that the Delhi Metro is the lifeline of the city and it has made commuting a cakewalk for us Delhizens. However, we just got wind about this development wherein the Delhi Police has asked DMRC to shut seven stations. Here's all you need to know.

7 Metro Stations To Be Shut | As you have read, the Delhi Police has asked Delhi Metro Rail Corporation to shut 7 metro stations, if the need arises. This step is being considered keeping in view of the farmers' protest outside the Parliament. The metro stations have been advised to be kept under extra vigil and include Janpath, Rajiv Chowk, Central Secretariat, Udyog Bhavan, Lok Kalyan Marg, Mandi House and Patel Chowk.

This decision comes after the Farmers’ Union gave a call to protest every day till the monsoon session ends outside the Parliament against the three farmer laws. Plus, the DMRC has also been asked to change metro services in case the situation worsens.

So, what do you think about this development?
