Delhi Might See A Total Overhaul With The Upcoming Master Plan 2041 For The City

Hi, Delhiites! As we all know, social media is flooded with the urgency of the climate issue for there’s nothing as important as sustainability in today’s date. So, the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is all set to go live with their New Master Plan very SOON.

Dear Delhi, Ready Steady G... | From what we’ve learnt, after the Delhi Master Plan 2021, New Master Plan 2041 for Delhi which is all set to go live soon and is expected to focus on issues like walkability, redevelopment, street infrastructure, sustainability, quality public transport integrated into Geographic Information Systems (GIS), data on air pollution and regulation of unauthorized colonies. In addition to it, it’s also going to take into consideration the quality of life of individuals. 

It’s being speculated that even though the 2021 Master Plan was a full-proof document rather than just a planning one, it couldn’t cater to favourable results. Word is that the engagement of common people or citizen organisations were at bay, which led to its failure.

Folks, if this plan works out, it might be the best thing that happens to Delhi in regards to its development. Here’s hoping everything goes well!
