Delhi Metro's Upcoming Aqua Line's Noida-Greater Noida Corridor To Be Launched Soon

Delhi Metro just doesn’t stop surprising us with more and more routes that make our lives TONS easier. Recently, the first trial run on the Noida-Greater Noida corridor of the upcoming Aqua Line was completed and we can’t wait for the launch now! 

Here’s What’s Happening | Covering a distance of 29.7 kms, the line will have 21 stations. Going from Noida’s Sector 71 to Depot, while connecting Dadri Road, Knowledge Park and Pari Chowk on the way, these trains will run at a maximum speed of 80 kmph, thus operating at an average speed of 37.5 kmph which is slightly better than usual metro speeds.

Platform screen doors will be constructed on all stations of the Aqua Line, just like the Magenta Line, though these trains will not run driverless. Each coach of the Aqua Line Metro trains will be equipped with four 37-inch Dynamic Route Maps, which will provide all the necessary information regarding routes, current and next stations, and interchange stations. 

Plus, each coach will have ports for mobile and USB charging too! Perfect. Sounds cool to us, can't wait for this to happen ASAP!
