For a majority of us, Delhi Metro is the lifeline that makes travelling from one place to the other in the city a cakewalk. And we just heard that the Pink Line will be India's longest corridor once the work on its missing link is complete. Here are all the details you need about this development.

The Longest Corridor In Making | The DMRC has completed the civil work on a missing link of its Pink Line, between Mayur Vihar Pocket 1 and Trilokpuri Sanjay Lake by installing steel grinders and thereby joining the two ends of this route. This means the metro corridor will be extended from Majlis Park to Maujpur, under the Phase IV project, which covers approximately 70 kms, making it the longest single metro corridor in the entire country.

The construction work was to start in the year 2020, however, the work kept getting stalled due to the COVID-19 lockdown. This corridor will make travelling for residences a much easier task since it will connect localities on different ends of the city. Did you know once the work is completed on this project, it will be the only ring corridor of the Delhi Metro?

Yup, and it is expected that the work will be completed in the next 2-3 months. So, what do you think about this development?
