Delhi Metro's Mushrooming All Over Town: Kalindi Kunj & Noida's Botanical Gardens To Get Linked

Delhi Metro is expanding by the minute and here we have news about yet another expansion happening - Delhi’s Kalindi Kunj and Noida’s Botanical Gardens Metro Stations shall get linked! A 3.9 kms metro link between these two is all set to open next month. 

DMRC has been stating that various trails are being run, during which the interface of the trains which will soon become driverless, is being checked plus it is also being ensured that no stone goes unturned anywhere at all! Testing of various subsystems of coaches is also being done.

Due to the driverless concept of trains, the trials will take about 5 months as compared to the 2 months within which driver-led trains would have completed the trial. 

This particular section from Botanical Gardens till Kalkaji Mandir consists of nine stations - Okhla Bird Sanctuary, Kalindi Kunj, Jasola Vihar, Shaheen Bagh, Okhla Vihar, Jamia Millia Islamia, Sukhdev Vihar, Okhla NSIC and Kalkaji Mandir. Awesome!
