Here’s some good news Delhiites, the DMRC has started trial runs on the much-awaited Pink Line and it seems pretty awesome! This 10.47 km-long stretch between the IP Extension and Maujpur elevated section of the upcoming 59 km-long Majlis Park-Shiv Vihar corridor of Phase III will soon be up and running in full swing! YAS!

Here’s The Deets | This section from IP Extension to Maujpur consists of nine elevated stations - IP Extension, Anand Vihar, Karkardooma, Karkardooma Court, Krishna Nagar, East Azad Nagar, Welcome, Jaffrabad and Maujpur. The trains for this section have arrived and soon, the test run will be over and they’ll be open for business!

The Pink Line of the Delhi Metro will have the highest track where the trains will run at a height of 23.6 metres, which is equivalent to a seven storey building! WOAH! Not only this, this metro line will be the longest too, with a 59 kms long track!!

We can’t wait to hop aboard this one!
