Delhi Metro Just Broke Its Own Record For Having The Highest Track On Its Pink Line!

Bookmark

The Delhi Metro has broken its own record of highest track on its Pink Line where the train will run at a height of 23.6 metres. This is equivalent to a seven-storey building! WOAH!!

The highest point will come between stations of Mayapuri and South Campus. The new alignment is made at such a crazy height because the Pink Line passes over the Airport Express at Dhaula Kuan, where a couple of flyovers bisect it and that causes issues.

Not only is it the highest running, the currently under-construction Pink Line will be the longest route in the Delhi Metro with a length of 59 kms! NICE!

Way to go DMRC!
