Delhi Metro Is All Set To Launch 2 New Corridors Into Ghaziabad & Noida By September
Delhizens, it looks like DMRC has a lot of plans in the pipeline to make commuting all the more easy peasy for us! Delhi Metro is gonna run even deeper into Noida and Ghaziabad by September end! *Naice!*
What’s Happening | By September end, Delhi Metro is gonna come up with two new corridors - one connecting Dwarka to Noida Extension and the other connecting Dilshad Garden to Ghaziabad. The former, which is on the Blue Line, will go further than Noida City centre, which is currently the last stop, to Electronic City. Noida Sectors 34, 52, 59, 61 and 62 will now fall on the new metro route. Awesome! The corridor will also touch the Noida-Ghaziabad border on NH 24, where the last metro station, Noida Electronic City will be located.
The second soon-to-be-opened corridor will run from Dilshad Garden to New Bus Stand in Ghaziabad and is also expected to open in September, saving LOADS of travel time for us peeps!
Apart from these two much-awaited metro line extensions, there is another Blue Line extension that’s on the cards, which’ll move towards Greater Noida. This section of the metro route is scheduled to open to the public by the end of 2018.
DMRC is no doubt on a roll with so many extensions and corridors cropping up! Way to go!
