Delhi May Soon Get What's Said To Be The Country's 1st Sports University

Delhi University is known for offering sports quota to students who have extraordinary skills in their fields. But from what we’ve heard, a new and dedicated sports university may very soon come up in the city with this move!

It’s A Clean Bowl | SO the latest buzz is that the Delhi Government recently announced that the city will soon get what’s supposed to be the first sports university of India. The government will establish Delhi Sports University which will offer sports degrees to athletes at graduate, post-graduate and doctorate levels. This way, all the budding sportspersons will be able to concentrate on their passion and devote time in excelling at the same! 

The university will be built on a 90-acre plot in Mundka and will provide degrees in sports like hockey and cricket. Once the bill has been approved by the Cabinet, it’ll be sent to the Lieutenant Governor.
