Delhi Govt. Has Set Up Oxygen Concentrator Banks With Home Delivery Facility

The past few weeks haven’t been the easiest for people in the city. As scores continued to grapple with the surge in cases and depleting medical supplies, the challenges faced in procuring these had truly been a nightmare. And now, even though the positivity rate has seen a dip, people can still encounter difficulties in getting oxygen concentrators, so here is what the Delhi Government has done to meet this demand.

Oxygen Concentrator Banks Now Open | Delhi Government recently announced that oxygen concentrator banks have now been set up in every district of Delhi to help out people in need. The folks who are under home quarantine can now ask for this and they can get it delivered at their doorsteps. In each district, a bank of 200 concentrators will be available and this bank has been set up to bridge the gap to avoid the need of admitting patients to ICU due to the shortage of oxygen.

A patient can dial up 1031 to get added to a list of those under home isolation and when required, the team will be at the doorstep of the patient in 2 hours to set up the equipment. In fact, even those patients who have been discharged but still need medical oxygen can also apply.
