Delhi has a number of markets that people love to visit for several purposes, be it for a shopping spree or just to hang out. But a lot of these markets are being shut down because of COVID-19 related violations. And we just heard that after another popular market in Central Delhi had been ordered to shut down till further notice, the decision has been revoked. Here's everything you need to know about this development.

Another Market Shut Down?! | Janpath Market, situated in the heart of Delhi, had been ordered to shut till further notice due to violation of several COVID-19 norms. However, a few hours into the decision, the Delhi Government has revoked the order and the market association & shopkeepers have been warned by the SDM to follow all the COVID-related regulations. The earlier order had been issued by the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) after the COVID-19 norms were violated. Over the past few days, several other Delhi Markets have been shut down due to similar violations. This includes popular hotspots like Central Market in Lajpat Nagar and Cotton Market in Sadar Bazar.

We hope people start taking these shutdowns as a wake-up call and abide by the necessary norms in order to break the chain!
