This Is A Representative Image

Travelling has become a far-fetched dream ever since the second wave of pandemic hit the entire country, creating a surge in the number of cases. With an upward trend in the daily tally of cases, the aviation industry has been impacted pretty badly with the everyday flights falling from the pre-pandemic times of 1,500 to just 325. And so keeping this trend in mind this is what the Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) plans to do.

T2 To Temporarily Shut Operations | The T2 terminal of DIAL will temporarily shut down starting from the 17th of May at midnight. This decision has been taken due to the fall in passenger movement as a result of the second wave. However, flights will continue to operate from the T3 terminal, which means GoAir and Indigo airlines will shift their operations to this terminal as well.

So, if you know of someone who’s travelling from or to Delhi for any purpose, let them know about this development!
