Lockdown 4.0 started from the 18th of May and will end of the 31st of May, but this lockdown comes with a different set of relaxations across the red, orange and green zones. One such relaxation as per the Delhi government is that the commercial markets can open up and some major markets have decided to open up.

To Boost The Economic Activity | After Delhi’s CM’s announcement, shops in CP and Khan Market will open on the basis of odd-even while strictly following the social-distancing norms from Tuesday, 19th May. If any shopkeeper fails to follow the orders, action will be taken against them and their shop will be closed. However, congested markets like Sadar Bazaar and Chandni Chowk have decided to remain shut till 31st May.

Sarojini Nagar will also open from the 19th of May, wherein each of the eight gates will be patrolled by the police while making use of thermal devices and sanitizers. Social distancing will be stringently implemented to curb the spread of COVID-19.

Avoid unnecessary travel and stay safe.
