The countdown for the Phase 3 operations of the Delhi Metro has begun and we can’t wait for an easier Metro travel! This new phase will make the time span of travel from South Delhi to Noida almost half now.

The trial runs for the Botanical Garden - Kalkaji Corridor have begun, and these trains will be up for public use soon. With the start of the 13.5 km-long corridor, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has introduced 7 new stations in South Delhi which will make the travel distance between South Delhi and Noida down from 28 kms to 12 kms, which is awesome!

People living on the Violet Line, i.e. Nehru Place, Kailash Colony and Moolchand, are expected to reach Noida in half an hour by changing trains at Kalkaji and not Mandi House from where it generally used to take an hour.

Another exciting thing about these lines is that the metros will soon become driverless, which will ensure additional seating for 60 more people!

So all you Delhi and Noida people, life just got way easier for you!
