Commuters Will Be Able To Shop While Travelling In The Delhi Metro With The Launch Of This New App

Delhiites, we already know just how bothersome commuting in our beloved Delhi Metro can become. The daily commute from home to work and vice-versa is no less than a struggle, especially when you have to consider work timings, getting time to shop for essentials or just recharging your smart card, paying your bills or just grabbing something to eat while you travel. One-Stop Solution | Do you forget your lunch at home and wouldn’t get the time to order at home or does the struggle to find an auto add to the reasons for you being late? Good news folks, Delhi’s lifeline Delhi Metro is coming out with a new app called Momentum 2.0. This is an online shopping app which will let commuters shop while they are on their way and they can pick up their orders at their destination stations, so simple, right? 

That’s not all, you can instantly recharge your smart card, you can book autos, cabs, e-rickshaws, and buses and the metro stations will also be provided with the facility of digital lockers from where the travellers can collect their items from. The app is still in its initial stage and will be rolled out soon for 50 metro stations. No more frantically looking for a place near the station to grab breakfast or running back home from work to do grocery shopping before the shops close!

So, make sure you download the app when it launches to make the cumbersome travel a lil more convenient!
