DelhiCome Alive With The Seasons: Celebrating Nature’s Beauty With Roku Gin & So City
Some of the most beautiful things in life are fleeting, and Japanese culture has a beautiful way of reminding us to savour them. The philosophy of *Shun* celebrates the idea of experiencing nature at its seasonal best, finding beauty in its changing rhythms and making room for moments of mindful creation. It’s about being present, noticing the little details and letting nature inspire the way we experience the world.
This idea found a creative expression through Roku Gin x So City’s “Come Alive With The Seasons”, a series that travelled across Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru, bringing Japanese artistry to life through immersive workshops, seasonal cocktails and stories rooted in craftsmanship. The philosophy also resonates with Roku Gin itself, which brings together six Japanese botanicals harvested at their peak to capture the distinct character of Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. Each city offered its own interpretation of the experience, leaving guests with a different art form to explore and a fresh perspective on mindful making.
The Art Of Oshibana In Delhi

Flowers that once bloomed in the open found a second life as art at the Delhi edition of “Come Alive With The Seasons”.
Led by Sadhika Gupta, the Oshibana workshop introduced guests to the Japanese art of preserving flowers and leaves through pressing. Delicate botanicals became the centrepiece of individual floral compositions, allowing everyone to create their own artwork and hold on to a little piece of nature long after its moment had passed. The experience offered a lovely reminder of how something as simple as a flower could become a lasting keepsake.
The Art Of Punch Needling In Bengaluru

Threads took on a life of their own at the Bengaluru edition of “Come Alive With The Seasons”, where punch needling turned into an exploration of colour, texture and hands-on artistry. The experience offered guests a chance to trade the everyday rush for a slower, more tactile form of creativity, one loop at a time.
Guided by Nivedita, the immersive workshop introduced guests to the art of punch needling, transforming simple threads into textured creations through playful combinations of colour, form and movement. As each design gradually came together, the process became as rewarding as the finished artwork, celebrating the beauty of making something by hand and finding joy in the little details.
The Art Of Kintsugi In Mumbai

Mumbai chapter of “Come Alive With The Seasons” centred on Japanese artistry and mindful creation; the experience explored a perspective that sees imperfections as part of an object's character, rather than something that needs to be concealed.
Led by Lavanya, the Kintsugi workshop introduced guests to the traditional Japanese craft of repairing broken pottery with gold. What might otherwise have been discarded became an opportunity to create something distinctive, with every crack adding a new layer of meaning to the restored piece. The process celebrated patience, craftsmanship and the idea that visible imperfections can become an integral part of what makes something beautiful.

The creative sessions across all three cities were accompanied by handcrafted Roku Gin cocktails and curated Japanese-inspired bites, bringing a delicious pause to the art, conversations and connections that shaped each evening. Guests got to immerse themselves in a hands-on craft, enjoy the company around them and take home a creation of their own. More than a memento of the experience, each piece carried a reminder of the beauty found in mindful making, thoughtful details and embracing imperfections.
Different Crafts, Connected by a Common Thread

Across Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru, So City x Roku Gin’s “Come Alive With The Seasons” brought Japanese artistry to life through three distinct creative experiences, each rooted in the philosophy of Shun and the beauty of nature’s changing seasons. Adding to the experience, Suntory Global Spirits ambassadors Dushyant Tanwar, Robert Hospet and Shibani Surkund shared insights about Roku Gin, its Japanese heritage and the craftsmanship behind its six seasonal botanicals. The series brought together art, culture and conversations, leaving guests with handmade creations, new perspectives and a deeper appreciation for the thought and tradition behind every detail.
