We regularly hear dreadful news about melting ice caps, climate change, rampant rise in pollution and what not. But have we ever done something towards the same? Well, this weekend it's your chance to show you care through this kickass bicycle riding session!
Pedal For A Cause This Weekend | Last year, the UN declared 3rd June as World Bicycle Day and this year to celebrate the same, a bicycle tour named 24 Spokes is being organised in the city on Sunday, the 2nd of June. The basic aim is to bring together scores of people of various countries such as embassy representatives, expats, travellers, cycling lovers, experts & local cycle clubs to raise awareness about the positive effects of cycling in Delhi!
This tour will start from Asaf Ali Road at 6 AM from where y’all will cycle to the President House, Raisina Hills, India Gate, CP and finish back at Asaf Ali Road at 8:30 AM. Thereafter, enlightening discussions about Delhi as a cycle-friendly city, environmental issues and the need for cycling, will be held.
