Check This Out: Arjan Garh Metro Station Has Been Given A Complete Makeover & How!

Delhi’s been home to a variety of wall art here and there, and here we have the Arjan Garh Metro Station chirping with an all-new look and some life added to it! 

Arjan Garh Metro Station on the Yellow Line (Samaypur Badli-Huda City Centre) now dons a colourful look, thanks to an art project called ‘Celebration of Nature’. Paintings of Indian birds have filled in the blank spaces on the outer walls, plus the inner walls are also all set to get a new look! Awesome! 

The initiative has been taken up by DMRC as well as Street Art India, a Delhi-based NGO which carries out outdoor art projects. Recently, the same organization gave a makeover to the Govindpur Metro Station and that too looks fab! 

Artists shall fly in from Singapore and Mexico to contribute to this project only to make it a masterpiece in itself. Nice! 

Surrounded by forests, Arjan Garh Metro Station serves as the entry point to Delhi. The greenery around it has inspired the artists to work on themes around flora and fauna.
