Board examinations are one of the premier examinations in the country that’s given great precedence. But this year a lot of examinations couldn’t be held due to the nationwide lockdown to contain the spread of Coronavirus. But now dates have been rolled for the remaining exams.

What You Need To Know | The Central Board Of Secondary Education (CBSE) will soon conduct the remaining exams for 12th standard in the first 2 weeks of July. The Human Resource Development (HRD) Ministry announced that the main aim is to finish the exams before the JEE (Mains) can be conducted. NIT exams will be conducted over 5 days from 18th July to 23rd July and so, the board exams should ideally finish up before these start.

CBSE had previously notified that out of the 90 remaining subjects, examinations will be conducted for only 29. While for class 10th, exams will be conducted only for the students in North-East Delhi, which could not happen due to the riots.

CBSE will conduct the exams for Business Studies, Information Practice (New), Geography, Hindi (Core), Hindi (Elective), Computer Science (New), Information Practice (Old), Home Science, Information Technology, Bio-Technology, Sociology and Computer Science (Old). Plus, the tests that the North-East 12th standard students couldn’t take due to the riots will also be conducted.

The results will be announced in August before IIT announces their merit list.
