Based on David Ives' witty stage adaptation of Venus in Fur, I'm Your Venus is an infamous erotic classic revolving around a desperate actress and a skeptic playwright.

It's about how they turn a late evening stage audition into a web of plays within plays involving a cat and mouse game of sexual power. Being set in two geographical zones - contemporary New York and 18th century Germany, it explores the complexities of a different kind of love.

This play was performed on Broadway too and later made into a film by Louis Malle, so you know it's got to be amazing! Go catch it for your dose of a riveting play steeped in culture.
