Just like always, Select CITYWALK is up with something new and fantastic to keep us entertained, and this time around, they’re back with the Japanese Film Festival for Indian movie buffs who share a passion for Japanese films and food. Scroll on for all the deets!

Japanese Film Festival 2.0!| 6 days, 13 movie screenings, a meet and greet with celebrity director Mr Norihiro Koizumi and tons of handcrafted sushi rolls. Can this get any better? No, right! We thought so too, and so here we are, giving you all the deets about this LIT film festival.

After the success of the first edition, these guys in collaboration with PVR Cinemas and The Japan Foundation, are back with the Japanese Film Festival 2.0, which will go on for 6 days featuring 13 handpicked Japanese movies with English subtitles for Indian moviegoers to experience Japanese cinema in all its glory. They’ll be screening award-winning movies like Yakiniku Dragon, Chihayafuru - Shimo no Ku, My Friend and more.

And that’s not all! To make your movie watching experience even better, Simply Sushi, a Japanese speciality food brand will be offering complimentary tasting portions of sushi rolls handcrafted by their Chef Yutaka Saito. Nice!
