Time to completely bid goodbye to any other form of transport other than the metro as by the end of the year, DMRC will connect Indira Gandhi International Airport’s Domestic Terminal to the metro! WOAH!

The upcoming Janakpuri West to Botanical Garden line is set to have a stop metres away from Terminal 1, which simply makes things so much easier for us! There will be 4 connecting points on this 38 km long line, which will connect people coming from different parts of Delhi, Noida and Gurugram!

Starting from Janakpuri West, the line will run through 22 stations and connect to South Delhi at Vasant Vihar, Munirka, IIT, Hauz Khas, Greater Kailash, Kalkaji, Okhla and Jamia Millia, among others and come meet at Botanical Garden in Noida. For commuters from South Delhi, it will be a direct ride - as quick as 20 minutes from Nehru Place! Nice!

With this being done, commuters wouldn’t have to worry about the traffic that they would face while travelling by road to the airport anymore! Delhi Metro is upping their game by the minute!
