By March End, South Delhi Peeps Will Be Able To Reach IGI Airport In 20 Mins Via The Metro!

Listen up Delhizens! Soon, people living in every part of the city will have metro connectivity to the Delhi Airport! Awesome! March end will see Terminal 1 of the IGI Airport get a metro station as part of the 34.2 kms Janakpuri West to Botanical Garden corridor of the Magenta Line.

Full-Coverage Metro Connectivity | This station will help domestic passengers the most, as Terminal 1 caters to carriers like IndiGo and SpiceJet, and with this added metro connectivity, life will become SO much easier, with the best bit being no traffic! YAS!

People coming from areas in South Delhi like Kalkaji, Nehru Place, Hauz Khas and Munirka will have direct connectivity and will be able to reach the airport within 20 minutes! That’s pretty darn awesome, TBH.

Those coming from East Delhi areas like Vaishali, Anand Vihar, Lakshmi Nagar can either go to Botanical Garden or Janakpuri West to take the train for Terminal 1 and their journey will not take longer than 50 minutes! Sweet!

Passengers travelling on the Magenta Line who have flights from T3 or T2 can get off at T1 and take the feeder service especially organised to take you to your respective terminal. The fare of this section is also said to be nominal and the stations will be connected to the terminal through a subway with walkators *AWESOME*!

This is a spectacular move!
