By 2022, 13 New Malls Will Be Opened In Delhi That'll Have A Larger Space For F&B

This city is constantly developing and a lot of steps are being taken towards modernization. One of the latest development is that the malls in Delhi and NCR will have more F&B outlets as it is one of the fastest-growing industries. Here’s more on this recent news.

A Foodie’s Paradise | By 2022, Delhi-NCR will see about 13 new malls lavishly spread over an area of 7.5 million sq ft with a larger area for dining. The malls have about 12-15% for F&B outlets but in the future, 25% of the space will be allocated to dining exclusively. The food industry in India generates a profit of about $60 million and the major footfall in the malls consist of people going out to eat.

Out of the 13 new malls that will be built in Delhi NCR, 6 malls that will be spread over an area of 4.5 million sq ft will be in Gurugram itself and some of the important locations here are Sohna Road and Sector 65. 5 new malls with 2.15 million sq ft will be in Delhi and 3 will be in Dwarka. 2 malls will come up in Greater Noida and Ghaziabad, that will be spread over 8,50,000 sq ft. By the end of 2022, 100 new malls will come up in the country as there’s a continuous demand for new spaces.
