While many of us in the city have been smokin’ on those ciggies to take the edge off, the good folks at Code Effort have been using those same cigarette butts to turn them into something amazing and useful! Trash To Treasure | Introducing Code Effort, the pioneers of cigarette waste recycling in the country. The genius folks at this organisation have cracked the code of curbing the littering of cigarette butts by recycling them into useful products. The paper part of the cigarette is turned into plantable paper bags, envelopes and burnable mosquito repellent that is sold under the name NMosq. That’s not all! The fibre from the cigarette filters is also treated and recycled into a variety of kid-safe products like toys, cushions and more!
