Breathing Books, A Human Library Is Coming To HOP

Delhi recently got a Human Library and guess what, something a lot similar called Breathing Book is headed over to Delhi’s Original Food Trucks Festival, Horn OK Please presented by Pepsi! Sweet!

It’s a very simple concept - there’ll be 6 people-cum-books around in the arena, who will happily tell you their life’s story just like a book does! You just ‘borrow’ people for 20 - 25 minutes and hear their stories, hear them dispelling prejudices and basically whatever you’re up to listening.

This concept basically aims towards breaking preconceived notions about marginalised communities via the method of conversation. The people act as ‘books’ which talk back and answers whatever questions the reader has pertaining to the story. Wow!

The books here will be talking about all sorts of topics like friendship, deprived dreams, embracing flaws and a lot more! Catch them on the 1st day, i.e. Saturday, 4th November from 12 Noon - 1 PM and listen to them tell you their beautiful stories.

On top of all this, Horn OK Please has got something for everyone! From a 60 foot long BBQ trailer, a whopping 40+ food trucks, a Bira 91 bar + beer garden, 50+ varieties of waffles at the Mini Waffle Fest at Waffle Mart, Dessert Carts and lots of shopping at the Quirk Bazaar, not to mention Russian hookahs by Hookah Craft!
