3. Hazrat Nizamuddin Dargah In Rockstar

Another movie directed by Imitiaz Ali, Rockstar starring Ranbir Kapoor and Nargis Fakhri, brought out the ethos of the capital city in the most remarkable way. The famous qawwali song, ‘Kun Faya Kun’ was shot at the dazzling Hazrat Nizamuddin Dargah and encapsulated the beauty of the qawwali nights at the Dargah. And they are very much real! We totally fell in love with the song and the scene!
4. Vikaspuri Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!

How can we forget this legendary movie, right? It is based on a true story of a chor, Bunty Chor from West Delhi! The Abhay Deol starrer has perfectly covered the typical West Delhi life and goes on to showcase how a small thief from Delhi indulging in petty burglary; gets involved in bigger scams. The movie is shot in various locations across Delhi, and the director, Dibakar Banerjee did a fantastic job in covering the city in such a wonderful way!
5. West DelhiBand Baaja Baaraat

Another movie shot in West Delhi, Band Baaja Baaraat revolves around the wedding planning business in Delhi that was extensively shot in Rajouri Garden and Subhash Nagar. Along with these places, the film was also shot in Delhi University’s North Campus. And yes, the famous Bread Pakoda scene was in the city too! The film showed the simple and buzzing life of the city remarkably for sure!
