Blue Line's Noida Electronic City MS & Red Line's Mohan Nagar MS May Be Connected Via This Corridor

Corridor Connecting Blue & Red Lines | DMRC has introduced a revised detailed project report (DPR) for Delhi Metro Phase III under which the Noida Electronic City MS on the Blue Line will be connected to Mohan Nagar MS on the Red Line, and this corridor is expected to be completed by 2021. The proposed corridor will have four stations on the route, including Vaibhav Khand, Indirapuram, Shaktikhand, Vasundhara Sector-5, Sahibabad and Mohan Nagar metro stations. 

Basically, what this corridor will do is make commuting for people travelling to Noida much easier. Did you know that around 1.5 lakh people from Ghaziabad travel via NH24 to reach Noida? Yep, so this will hopefully reduce the traffic congestion on the roads and encourage more people to use the metro.
