Lately, there has been a number of developments in the city. Be it increase in the penalty for breaking traffic rules under the amended Motor Vehicles Act or the introduction of Mukhyamantri Street Light Yojna, the city has seen a whole lot of initiatives. The FINE Parking | The Delhi Government has announced its Parking Policy which prohibits parking vehicles on the footpath and so, the municipal corporation has been asked to come up with a plan for vehicle parking in the residential areas. Moreover, they have also increased the parking fee in order to discourage people from parking their vehicles for a longer duration!

This might see the coming up of a regular shuttle service near the parking areas, the fees for which will be included in the parking amount. Plus, the local bodies will develop open areas in the residential areas as parking spaces on payment basis!
